Terms & Conditions for Salon Visitors

Welcome to Solvedda. By booking or attending a treatment with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are in place to protect both you and our team and ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all.

1. Booking & Appointments

  • All appointments must be booked via our website, phone, or in person.

  • A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your slot.

  • Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you - please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without refund.

2. Deposits & Cancellations

  • A non-refundable deposit is required for all treatments.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

  • If you do not attend your appointment (no-show), your deposit will be retained in full.

  • Cancellations can be made via email or phone, and must be confirmed by a member of our team.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree that:

  • You will provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date health information prior to receiving any treatment. This includes, but is not limited to, allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, injuries, or skin sensitivities.

  • You will follow aftercare advice given by your therapist to ensure the best results and avoid complications.

  • You will behave respectfully toward staff and other guests. Abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the premises.

  • You will not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If suspected, your treatment may be refused without refund.

4. Health & Medical Disclaimers

  • Our treatments are non-medical and are not a substitute for professional healthcare.

  • We do not claim to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition.

  • If you have a pre-existing medical condition, it is your responsibility to consult your GP or healthcare provider before booking.

  • By undergoing any treatment at Solvedda, you confirm that you are fit to proceed and have disclosed all relevant health concerns.

5. Liability & Risk

  • Solvedda accepts no liability for any adverse reactions, injury, loss, or damage arising from your failure to disclose relevant medical information or to follow aftercare advice.

  • We are not liable for damage to clothing, personal items, or property brought onto the premises.

  • Solvedda will not be held responsible for pre-existing skin, hair, or body conditions that may affect or influence your treatment outcome.

  • While we take all reasonable precautions, results may vary, and no guarantees are made regarding treatment effectiveness.

6. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or discontinue treatment if we feel it is unsafe to proceed (e.g. due to medical reasons, skin condition, hygiene issues, or behaviour).

  • Ask a client to leave the premises if behaviour is inappropriate, threatening, or violates these Terms.

  • Cancel or reschedule appointments at our discretion (e.g. due to therapist illness or emergencies). In such cases, we will offer an alternative appointment or refund any deposits.

7. Children & Guests

  • Treatments are offered to clients aged 18 and over, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian and with prior consent.

  • Please do not bring children or additional guests unless necessary or agreed in advance, as this may disrupt the experience of other clients.

8. Payment & Pricing

  • Full payment is due at the end of the treatment, minus any deposit paid.

  • We accept [insert accepted payment methods, e.g. card, contactless, bank transfer].

  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will be honoured at the rate confirmed when booked.

  • All prices include VAT where applicable.

9. Gift Cards & Promotions

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable for cash.

  • Gift cards and promotions must be used within their validity period.

  • Only one promotional offer may be used per treatment, unless otherwise stated.

10. Data & Privacy

We respect your privacy. All personal information is stored securely and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
